Sari-sari Kabuhi: Imagining and Imaging Biodiversity from the Youth’s Lenses.

A picture paints a thousand words, and it can provide a glimpse into the realities that the photographer creates and wants the viewers to see and understand. Sari-sari Kabuhi: Imagining and Imaging Biodiversity from the Youth’s Lenses invites you to witness the images of life—kabuhi—through a series of photography made by young people for all ages. This exhibition celebrates biodiversity as captured by lenses of young explorers in a mountainous community of Central Panay. Each picture tells the stories of survival, adaptation, and flourishing. From endemic flora to fauna, these visual tales reveal the beauty of our shared natural heritage, inviting us to marvel at life's deep connections. Join the young AsTEx explorers from May 27 to June 27, 2025, at the West Wing corridor, Museum of Art and Cultural Heritage, University of the Philippines Visayas, General Luna St., Iloilo City. Immerse yourself in a rich visual journey through Panay Island where Nature is teeming with life, kabuhi.
