The “Climate-Sensitive Water Management in Central Asia” project (GIZ, BMZ, SDC, EU) aims to: Raise public awareness of the need to conserve water resources; Draw attention to the environmental problems of the Syr Darya and Kara Darya river basins; Actively involve young people in issues of sustainable and rational water use; Promote the development of regional cooperation among the Syr Darya basin countries.  Planned activities include:  🔹 Information and educational seminars in schools and universities on protecting water resources (Syr Darya and Kara Darya);  🔹 Eco-campaigns: cleaning and improving riverbanks, planting trees and shrubs;  🔹 A creative and research competition dedicated to International Syr Darya River Day 2025;  🔹 A national forum on sustainable water resource management with representatives from government agencies, environmental organizations, the scientific community, and youth initiatives International Day of the Syr Darya River - 2025...
