The Kandhamal Zilla Sabuja Vaidya Sangathan (KZSVS) is a grassroots NGO based in Odisha, dedicated to the holistic development of tribal and marginalized communities. Since 2004, KZSVS has been working across over 600 villages in Kandhamal District, focusing on sustainable livelihoods, water and sanitation, health and nutrition, women’s empowerment, organic farming, and the revival of traditional healing practices. The organization promotes community-led development, ensuring local ownership and long-term sustainability. Through integrated approaches, KZSVS empowers vulnerable groups—especially women, children, and persons with disabilities—to lead dignified and self-reliant lives.
