Press Conference: Food Systems for Nature: Closing the Implementation Gap, UN Convention on Biodiversity - COP 17.


Ministers from Alliance of Champions for Food Systems Transformation (ACF) member countries — Sierra Leone, Brazil, Norway and Cambodia — will release a joint statement and action snapshot, 'Food Systems for Nature: Closing the Implementation Gap', outlining ways to accelerate delivery of global biodiversity targets at COP17.

Scientific and practical seminar: Biodiversity, ecosystem services and well-being.

The event is organised by the Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology together with GreenLabsKNU. The scientific and practical seminar on biodiversity will include a practical component on biodiversity research on the campus of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (22.05.2025) and a seminar component (23.05.2025) to discuss the following issues: the content and importance of biodiversity; levels of biodiversity; role in the development of ecological networks and green and blue infrastructure; ecosystem services of biodiversity; the importance of biodiversity for sustainable development.
