The new Subsidiary Body is expected to elevate issues related to the implementation of Article 8j and enhance the engagement and participation of indigenous peoples and local communities in all convention processes.

5th annual mass tree planting exercise.

The ILIYA YAME KWACHE FOUNDATION has been into mass tree planting annually since 2021. This year, from 7th June to 14th June, the tree planting campaig n will hold in five different towns in Michika, Uba, Adamawa State University Mubi, Lutheran University Demsa and Catholic Seminary Mayo Belwa. We will plant and distribute 100,000 drought resistant tree seedlings to members of the public .
